Jill Segal
Jill has been watching people perform to their highest potential, guiding them along the way, since 1993. Her journey has been an unusual one. Jill trained as a barrister. Her passion for live performance arts took over her life and she started an agency for classical musicians, promoting them with orchestras, opera houses, festivals and venues all over the world. Along with the territory came a great deal of nurturing. It is surprising that even artists at the top of their game overlook personal presentation and confident communication. They are used to communicating through their art and lose out on human exchange
Long before Jill joined a Toastmasters club she was practising the art of evaluation and presentation skills. Toastmasters made her even more committed and excited about the positive effect of standout speaking on both herself and others. She delved deeper into teaching, becoming an associate of the New Era Academy, holding its diploma in public-speaking. She, too, is a Distinguished Toastmaster
Jill has been involved with the Speaker’s Trust, Foundation for Social Mobility, visited schools and given workshops on communication and voice projection. Showing someone the difference they can make to their life with good presentation is exhilarating
